Objective 
Reducing the concrete areas, preparation of the area to create rainwater and decoration flowerbeds, gravel paths and lawns.  

Scheduled Activities 
The removal of the sidewalk and curbs on the area of 38 m2, cutting down unsuitable evergreen trees, removal of roots of the cut-down trees and mellowing the soil in the school area.  

Realized Activities 
In August 2015 the workers of the Municipality of Vranov nad Topľou cut down 6 conifer trees and removed the biologic waste incurred. A selected contractor removed the roots of the cut-down trees using construction machinery, demolished the asphalt pavement and concrete curbs with the area of 38 m2 and also mellowed the soil in order to plant flowerbeds, trees and green areas.  

Volunteers (especially parents of pupils attending the elementary school and teachers) removed the construction waste incurred by hands and placed it in large volume containers. Transport and disposal of construction waste was done by an authorised organisation in cooperation with the Municipality of Vranov nad Topľou.
